This is NOWish, the second installment of NOW. This collection is a series of film photographs I took while driving north along coast 101 up to Mt. Hood from August 27th through September 3rd. During this journey I had no idea where I was for most of the time. Because of this I had no expectations of where I needed to be and that was wonderful. I drove slowly and pulled over for anything that caught my eye to make a photograph. In between photographs I enjoyed eating peanut butter jelly sandwiches, listening heaps of music as well as writing down observations of the sights I was seeing and the things I was feeling. After the day would wind down I would find a nice place to sleep in my truck. Sometimes that was right next to the ocean other times it was across the street from apartment buildings. This truly feels like the best and least expensive way to see the world. I hope you enjoy my captures from this experience.
